This could be the perfect place to learn the skills and acquire the real-world experience that you need for your future creative career. Our roles are unpaid, but we do help you build a professional portfolio to showcase your achievements.

Build your creative career portfolio with real-world work that is needed by a beloved nonprofit for a meaningful cause.

 

You will be working directly with a nationally known career coach for creatives. Our internship roles are designed to help young talent prepare for creative careers through real-world work assignments that build your confidence and skills.  

We provide professional support to create your resume and portfolio.

Writers

Content Creation Intern
Description: Focus on developing multimedia content for social media, blogs, and marketing campaigns.

Skills Learned: Storytelling and copywriting for different platforms.
Understanding brand voice and tone.
Social media management. Content calendar planning/strategy.
Projects: Writing blog posts, drafting social media copy, assisting in campaign ideation.

Copywriting and Editorial Intern

Description: Assist in creating written content for blogs, websites, and marketing materials.

Skills Learned: Writing for different audiences and platforms. SEO keyword optimization. Editing and proofreading. Research and fact-checking. Creating compelling and engaging content.
Projects: Writing articles, crafting social media copy, editing reports or brochures.

Film Makers

Photographers

Film/Video Production Intern
Description: Assist in the production of videos, short films, or promotional content, learning various aspects of video creation.

Skills Learned: Filming techniques, lighting, and sound. Video editing.
Storyboarding and scriptwriting.
Understanding production timelines.
Projects: Filming short videos, editing clips for social media, helping with set design, and managing video projects.

Photography Intern
Description: Learn the essentials of photography, including shooting, editing, and understanding different environments.

Skills Learned: Camera techniques (lighting, angles, and focus)
Event photography and portraiture.
Visual storytelling and framing.
File organization and asset management.
Projects: Conducting photoshoots for events or clients, editing images, and organizing photography libraries.

Creatives

Creative Project Management Intern
Description: Focus on the organizational aspects of creative projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Skills Learned: Time management and project planning tools. Budgeting and resource allocation. Coordinating between creative teams (writers, designers, videographers). Learning workflows and planning.
Client relations management.
Projects: Coordinating a team project, creating timelines for a marketing campaign, and tracking project progress.

Marketing and Communications Intern
Description: Learn the basics of creative marketing campaigns, public relations, and communication strategies.

Skills Learned: Campaign strategy development. Writing press releases and e-newsletters. Market research and audience segmentation.
Collaboration with designers and content creators
Projects: Writing blog posts, drafting social media copy, assisting in campaign ideation.
